Four Seasons, Hampshire – a restored 18th century estate set in 500 acres of picturesque countryside impeccably blending legacy and heritage with modern amenities.
Nestled in the cornerstone of Hampshire, one of England’s most breathtaking counties, this historic estate provides a true country escape. Set in the most picturesque of English countrysides, there is plenty to experience, offering guests a chance to escape from busy city life.
Working with Four Seasons in Hampshire creating a lasting and significant partnership
JFK Architectural Signs has been working on with the Four Seasons Hotel in Hampshire for over 10 years and have designed, manufactured and installed the majority of internal signage as well as all external signage for the entire estate.
Across the estate various iterations of bronze signage can be found all of which were designed to create a harmonious wayfinding package across the estate. To portray the unique and high-end character of the Four Seasons brand, cast bronze signs with gold leaf details were used.

The signage scheme for the entire estate had to incorporate the historical context of the era in which it was built as well as the Four Seasons Brand. Hence, the main sign has been designed and manufactured using cast bronze with gold leaf detail which is reiterated throughout the estate.
Bespoke Bronze Signage
We were able to create unique bronze signage incorporating the history of the estate by creating statement pieces for the internal signage scheme. Striking fluted internal directional signs with decorative finials and cast bronze plaques where manufactured and installed to create a magnificent 5-star feel in keeping with the aesthetic of the Four Seasons brand.
The estate is always a rewarding project to work on as unique pieces of signage are designed and created to represent the distinctiveness of the hotel’s brand. This sign was very intricate and complex as it uses many different types of processes. It has a stunning bronze border with patination which includes tactile and braille finished to the highest quality to aid visually impaired guests to read by touch.
Frosted Glass Plaques
To create a more contemporary feel for some of the modern amenities on the estate, frosted glass with vinyl text were incorporated into the signage scheme.
Wooden Freestanding Signs
An additional adventure for guests, a high wire, has been created using the woodland on the estate. We were tasked in designing eco-friendly wooden signage that reflects the woodland and its surroundings.
